Simply 50’s, simply sophisticated. I love the birdcage veil – A look of softness, femininity, independence and pure attitude. It’s stylish in it’s simplicity. Your headpiece can complete your look – and compliment your theme. In 2010, Bride’s are expressing themselves in extraordinary ways!
Express yourself.

Eco savvy men’s fashion hasn’t come as far as women’s simply because most men rent their tuxes and suits – and that’s already eco friendly and sustainable.
However, if your eco-conscience dude doesn’t want to rent, there are a few options out there for him.
- Vintage or consignment clothing. There are actually a lot of options out there on Etsy – if you want to look through pages and pages of items. Blah.
- A nice and very stylish Hemp Suit is available at Conscience Clothing. Nice, eh?
- Nau has some nice options
- Rawganique has some nice hemp suit options, in a variety of colors up to XXL!
- Boll Organic has a collection of organic dress shirts
Just a few options for our eco chic grooms!

Yes, it is possible and a very nice way of being eco-conscience. Consignment dresses!
You wear your dress once. It’s practically new by the end. You can find some very nice – high end gowns on consignment. Check out Ebay, Criaigslist, and Brides Against Breast Cancer.
What a way of getting a beautiful gown and giving back at the same time.
Check out this website.
Check it out! They have plus sizes.
You can even check-in with your local high end consignment shops.

There is nothing that says what’s in style more than the dresses that Bride’s are wearing.
So, I’m going to show you. Our clients tend to choose traditionally elegant styles. The bodice is clean – minimal embellishments. The skirt is A-line. The fabric is satin or silk satin. What binds all these women together – is that they all look stately and elegant on their wedding daze.
Take a look.
They are all so beautiful.
Thanks to Thomas Graves, Rachel Smith, Paul V Photo, Jennifer Domenick, Eleven Hearts Photography, Stephen Voss, Lizzie Photo, and Jennifer Hughes for the amazing photographs.
Sound like an oxymoron?
If you have pretty feet, you are really going to love this Eco-cool option.
Use a ribbon of your color choice to tie these wooden babies in many different ways.
Cute, eh?
You can get them in Maple, Cherry and Walnut – in different cuts (flat, rounded, pointed) and widths.

We love planning cultural weddings. The traditions… the dress…the food! I just love learning about new things.
We are showing our respect and appreciation for cultures- all over the world – by presenting traditional wedding gowns from all over the world. Many cultures have adopted the western-style wedding dress. In some cultures, they wear up to 9 wedding dresses – all in one day! Awesome!
Of course, there are variations of the dresses I will post. My only intention is to share our appreciation – and the intrinsic beauty with all of you.
Enjoy!
Let’s start with the lucky “red” of China. The traditional Kwa
The beautiful and traditional Indian Saree
All in black. Ole! The traditional Spanish dress
The traditional Ao Dai from Vietnam
The Moroccan Kaftan
The Japanese Kimono -Shiro Maku
Traditional Russian
Traditional Nigerian
The Korean Hambok
Lovely!
Happy planning!
